Wow Are We Busy!

Well it’s that time of year when life just gets busier and busier, our Blacklock home is no exception.
Our Fundraising committee has been working hard and so far we’ve had some great programs to support. Our Neufeld orders are due back November 23rd so don’t forget to send them in.
The Book fair is coming up really quick, December 2nd to the 4th, perfect timing for Christmas shopping;) If you are interested in volunteering there is a sign-up sheet in the office.
The Winter Ball planning is well on it’s way and has been scheduled for December 11th @ 6:00pm to 8:30pm. We’d like to make this a special event for the kids so extra volunteers are needed to help with decorating – any and all help is welcome! Please watch for a notice to come home in the next week.
Our Christmas Store will be open this year from December 14th – 16th. The parent elves running this event do a fabulous job and the children have so much fun and take a lot of pride in the gifts they choose so if you have anything to donate (new/used items or gift bags) it is very much appreciated. The gifts range from $.10 – $2.00, very affordable and well worth the chance for the kids to pick out  surprise gifts for their families!
Another exciting Christmas event coming up is the Santa Breakfast. The kids are asked to bring a loonie or toonie to donate to the Christmas Hampers and again volunteers very much needed for this event.
A lot of planning goes into all of these programs and events so if you would like to help with the planning or just sit back and see what’s coming up please come out to the next PAC Meeting on November 30th at 7:00pm.
